shunni dev, shunni dev!
well, whatever they may say
is the reason for
cause and effect, ying and yang,
the law of karma:

a caramel skinned god
with bouncy black curls
a menacing stare burning into space
as he doles out
slices of punishment,
rightfully due,

or a nameless, faceless, formless
nothingness that
precisely prepares
portions of fate
according to your own personal
bar tab of actions-

in the end
(one of many sunsets)
you can only eat the fruit from
the tree you've planted
